Like fine, equisite wine, Eric Clapton's guitar virtuosity improves with age… Clapton's career extraordinaire spans over six decades. He is the only musician as of yet who was inducted three times to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — twice as member of the Yardbirds and Cream; and once as a solo artist. His astounding resume includes honorable citations and awards: Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time", fourth in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time", and named number five in Time magazine's list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in 2009. He holds 18 Grammy Awards, a Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, and in 2004 he was awarded a CBE at Buckingham Palace for services to music.
