This 2023, the Krush Groove Festival is making its phenomenal return to La La land! The event is presented by Los Angeles’ favorite classic hip-hop radio station, 93.5 KDAY, and this year’s line-up packs a punch! The show will be headlined by Grammy-Award-winning hip-hop group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, featuring all original members! Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is a legendary hip-hop group known for their fast-paced rap style. Established in 1991, the group released their debut single, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” which quickly made a breakthrough into the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Peaking at number 22, the song was later certified gold after selling more than 500,000 units. Their debut EP spawned the song Creepin on ah Come Up, which debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on the R&B charts. Being a hip-hop gem, the EP later sold over four million copies in the U.S., earning 4x platinum status.
After the EP’s phenomenal breakthrough, Bone Thugs moved on to release two number-1 albums, E. 1999 Eternal and The Art of War, in 1995 and 1997. Both albums sold over four million copies each, earning the group another two quadruple platinum certifications in the U.S. E.1999 spawned the group’s biggest hit, “Crossroads,” which won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
This 2023, the group is performing their last tour as a five-member group. These last run of dates will be the last fans will see all five original members performing on stage together.
