The Irish rockers, U2 formed all the way back in 1976 in Dublin and have been taking to the road and taking over radio stations ever since! The band of course includes the iconic front man, Bono on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, the legendary lead guitarist/keyboardist and backing vocalist – the Edge who has become something of a star himself too. Other members are Adam Clayton on bass guitar, and Larry Mullen Jr. on drums and percussion.
As they began their career in the post punk movement, U2 have changed and developed through the years but always remained their original and unique sound which is perfect for huge venues – it's no wonder they have been headlining massive stadium shows for the bulk of their years!
Through their lyrical content they have always expressed spiritual imagery, as well as personal and sociopolitical themes. These guys are one that just haven't stopped touring… and rightly so!
This tour in particular will be bringing to life the group's fifth album, The Joshua Tree (1987), the one that truly changed their career and made them the international superstars that we know them as today!
