Demi Lovato is proving her point with her upcoming It’s Not That Deep Tour across North America. The dance-pop album, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, gives a whole new side of the singer whose eight previous albums were all rock-leaning pop. On a Facebook post, Lovato sentimentally shared with her fans that “this album era has been such a joyful and fun time in my life… every piece of this world was created with so much love. from set to the studio, i’ve enjoyed every moment of this process and i hope you can feel it when you listen.” Now, she’s giving her fans the chance to listen to her new music and the hits from her impressive catalogue in person, and the tour is coming to The Kia Forum on Saturday, 16th May 2026!
The tour, and even the album, are remarkable surprises from the American singer-songwriter. Lovato, who has been open about her personal struggles and how they turned her into a mental health advocate, has also expressed that she initially thought she would have already retired from making music and touring. Her last arena tour was seven years ago for her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour, and last year, she told The Hollywood Reporter that she isn’t sure she’ll “ever tour again”. It seems that the pop star has healed from her past and has realized that It’s Not That Deep. With 31.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 24 million records in the United States, the Grammy-nominated musician and New York Times bestselling author remains one of the top performers in the music industry, electrifying every stage she goes to.
Her North American show dates will have Slovak singer-songwriter Adéla as the opening act. A young singer who recently gained popularity when her music journey was followed in the Netflix show Pop Star Academy, she released her debut EP The Provocateur, this year.
