Welcome the Young The Giant Victory Garden Tour at the historic Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA on Friday, July 17th, 2016 with very special guests Cold War Kids and up and coming alternative artist KennyHoopla. The 5:00PM doors will open up to the beautiful outdoor Terrance at the Forum where fans will be able to grab concessions and enjoy the sights before making their way back inside to catch the 6:30PM start time of this triple-bill show of Indie and Alternative Rock. All shows will be in partnership with iconic environmental organization, REVERB. The Victory Garden Tour is in support of Young The Giant’s sixth full-length album of original material and the latest from the band’s first foray with Fearless Records.

With multiple platinum albums and hit singles under their belt, Young The Giant has established themselves as one of the leading indie rock bands today, performing music that is not only emotionally charged, but also deeply personal and cohesive. As songwriters, the band of five delivers music that resonates and as performers, they bring their energy to the stage in a way that leaves audiences wanting more. For their newly released album, the band’s sixth full-length release and their first on Fearless Records, titled The Victory Garden, the band will be performing the band’s most-celebrated songs and sustainability-focused tour is also part of their long-standing environmental partnerships promoting sustainability, food insecurity initiatives, and carbon reduction projects across North America in cities like Las Vegas, Cleveland, Richmond, and Tampa.

Cold War Kids

Also featuring the alternative rock outfit Cold War Kids. The songs written by the band have received quite a buzz in the indie scene receiving good reviews from publications. The Cold War Kids will probably play a number of songs from their catalog and give the fans a taste of their live show. Cold War Kids’ “Hang Me Up to Dry” and “First” are a couple of fan favorites and are expected to receive a lot of applause when they are played. The band often tours with Young The Giant and so joining them on the Victory Garden Tour is the perfect place for them to be.

KennyHoopla

The young Alternative artist KennyHoopla will kick off the night with his unique sound of Alternative/Indie in a Rock, Hip-Hop & Electronic form of music that will keep the crowd’s energy at an extreme high throughout his entire performance. He will perform hits such as ‘How Will I Rest in Peace if I’m Buried by Hypocrites‘ off of his most recent EPs as well as his hit single ‘Estella‘ and many more brand new songs to be released off of his upcoming projects.
